How do you apply for hiring a domestic helper?

1. For the application for hiring a foreign domestic helper, the following must be satisfied:
(1) Families with triplet or more, all under three-year-old; or
(2) Families with elderly and child/children, reaching 16 points on the evaluation scale; or
(3) Linear relatives with age of under six years or over 75 years or with a spouse of parent(s').
2. Limitations:
(1) The points receiver has to be in the same household registration as the employer and is limited to one domestic helper per household.
(2) If the ward, who either needs or is without a protection of a guardian, has already been appointed from another case, or the ward has a different household registration to the employer, the points will not be recognized.
3. Foreign workers shall be recruited by foreign investors, or employees of enterprises, and is regulated by Article 3, paragraph 2 regarding domestic helper:
(1) Foreigner workers are being hired as general manager;or higher by enterprises with the amount of foreign investment exceeding NTD 100,000,000 or being hired as a department head or higher by enterprises with the amount of foreign investment exceeding NTD 200,000,000.
(2) Foreigner workers are being hired as general manager or higher by enterprises with the amount of annual revenue exceeding NTD 500,000,000; or being hired as a department head or higher by enterprises with the amount of foreign investment exceeding NTD 1,000,000,000.
(3) For the payment of consolidated income tax whose annual salary exceeded NTD 3,000,000 in the last calendar year or monthly salary of NTD 250,000 reached by foreign workers working in corporations, juristic institutions, juridical association, or non-for-profit organizations. The previsions of criteria two is applicable to foreign workers being assigned for corporations of overseas subsidiaries/offices as a representative.
