May 1st, the Labor's Day
May 1st, Labor Day, is the most important day for the workers in Taiwan. To express respect and appreciation to workers, Taipei City Government holds celebration activities for Labor Day every year. One of the most important events at each year’s celebration is the recognition of ‘Outstanding Laborers,’ ‘Excellent Laborers’, and the selection of ‘Excellent Trade Unions’.
